Cover for In the Loop Program Guide - Winter 2019

Welcome to PDF icon In the Loop, WPL's new program and events guide. In the Loop contains information about all of the exciting, fun and educational programs happening at WPL for all ages this winter.

We have over 80 free programs and events planned at WPL for January and February 2019. Some programs require registration while others are drop-in. All of this important information is included inside In the Loop.

In the Loop also contains a handy at-a-glance calendar to give you an overview of all of the happenings at your library this winter.

Kids - Babies to School Age

From Baby Art Time to Discovering Robots, Where the Wild Things Are to 3D Printing and Number Ninjas, there's something planned for our smallest and youngest customers at all locations. And don't forget Babypalooza, the ultimate baby party, on February 27.

Families

Whether you're into Family Yoga or planning, creating and building something new as a family, there are all sorts of activities to do together at the library. We also have our annual Stories 'n Skate at the McCormick Branch (Jan 25), Winterloo Explore Play Learn (Jan 26) and Family Literacy Day (January 27) at Conestoga Mall. All terrific events for the whole family.

Teens

Come to WPL and try your hand at code cracking to "break out" of the library. Build and program a robot or maybe trivia is more your thing? Teens are also giving back at WPL, helping with the annual Let's Get Personal campaign in February in support of the Waterloo Wayside Centre.

Adults & Seniors

Where do we begin? You asked for more programs for adults and we have more programs for adults! Explore technology, drop in for a book club meeting, hone your creative writing skills, attend a lecture, learn to 3D print, etch glass, try your hand at bullet journaling or celebrate the Academy Awards with us at our Oscars Party.
